Boat Safety classes offered

    Boat Safety classes start Thursday evening, March 4 from 7 to 9 p.m. Presented by Peter Dawson, Uscg Aux Coxswain holder of 100 Ton Captain's Certification, Dawson has 58 years of boating experience.
    Entitled "Boating Skills and Seamanship," this class encompases all the basics of safe boating.
    This nine week class meets the requirements in all 50 states. It is presented in an educational but entertaining way and is recommended for the entire adult boating family for $75. Refreshments will be provided.
    This class will be repeated beginningÊ May 10;Ê July 19;Ê Sept. 27.
    A one day seminar boating courseÊ "Boating Safely"Ê will be presented on Sunday, March 21,Ê 8 a.m.-5:30 p.m.ÊÊÊ
    This fast-paced class is designed as a minimum education for the boating public. It is the popular choice for boaters who have a moving violation on the water and is accepted as meeting the court requirements.Ê
    Cost is $75.00 and lunch is provided.
    This class will be repeated on April 18;Ê May 16;Ê June 20;Ê July 18;Ê Aug. 15;Ê Sept. 19;Ê Oct. 17;Ê Nov. 21.
