Rotary Club of Lake Elsinore completes visioning session The Rotary Club of Lake Elsinore came together recently to envision what the club would like to accomplish in the next five years in the community and communities around the world. During a four hours session with three facilitators that came here to assist the club, the members worked on seeing the future in areas such as community service, vocational service (high ethical standards), and international service. International service not only covers accomplishing projects in other parts of the world, but also brings the world to our community. Some of the projects that the club will create over the next five years include: Attracting new members with high ethical standards and better representing the diversity of the community. Being known as the "Get It Done" club, following through with all commitments. Posting the 4-Way Test at every business in the community. Attract at least 200 students into club leadership activities; increase the number and amount of local scholarships. Partner with other community organizations that provide shelter and food for homeless. Rotary is an organization of business and professional leaders united worldwide who provide humanitarian service, and help to build goodwill and peace in the world. There are approximately 1.2 million Rotarians who are members of more than 30,000 Rotary clubs in 169 countries. To find out more about the Four Way Test or to participate in our local and world programs, visit the Rotary Club of Lake Elsinore on Wednesday mornings at 7:00 a.m. at the Ortega High School Conference Center at 520 Chaney St., Lake Elsinore.
